Abstract

Exactly a century ago, wave quantum mechanics was born in Arosa, Switzerland. Erwin Schrödinger was vacationing in this classic Swiss Alps town at Christmas 1925 when he made his breakthrough discovery of the wave equation \cite{SchrQMI}.
