Abstract

The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics postulates the existence of the scalar Higgs field and its associated quantum , the Higgs boson (125 GeV ), as the fundamental mechanism for the acquisition of mass by elementary particles. In this work, we propose a phenomenological reinterpretation of this mechanism through the framework of Quantum Diffusion (DQ-12). We postulate that the "Higgs field" corresponds to the isotropic, thermodynamically rested ground state of the spatial continuum. Under this framework, inertial mass is not the result of interaction with a bosonic particle , but rather emerges as the natural topological friction (geometric resistance) of energy nodes moving through spatial diffusivity gradients. We conclude that the GeV resonance detected in highenergy hadronic collisions (LHC) is not a fundamental building block of the universe, but an Extreme Perturbation Artifact: a transient geometric shock wave produced by the violent thermodynamic relaxation of the isotropic vacuum.
